How do you transfer files from one computer to another when they are in different homes or cities? No USB sticks, cloud storage or email: in DeskOne, files and folders are copied between computers right during the remote session — with ordinary Copy and Paste.

Transfer files between computers over the internet

Files, folders and text · both directions · no cloud limits

How to send a file to another computer

  1. Connect to the other computer with DeskOne using its ID and password.
  2. Copy a file or folder on one computer (Ctrl+C or Copy).
  3. Paste it on the other (Ctrl+V or Paste). Transfer works in both directions.

Why it beats USB drives and cloud storage

No uploading anywhere

The file travels inside the encrypted session, without intermediate cloud storage.

Whole folders

Copy not just single files but entire folders.

Text too

A shared clipboard: copy text on one machine and paste it on the other.

Under your control

Each side can turn off the shared clipboard on its end, and then nothing leaves that computer.

Encryption

Everything sent in a DeskOne session — the picture, input and files — is encrypted end to end. The DeskOne server only helps the machines find each other and cannot see the content.
