DeskOne helps companies and sole traders set up remote access to their computers: employees work on office PCs from home, and IT staff support computers without travelling. You buy a license once per computer — no subscription and no monthly charges.
Remote access to computers for businesses
One-time license per computer · end-to-end encryption · free daily mode
What it is good for
Working from home
An employee connects to their office computer and works in accounting software, email and company programs just as in the office. How to set it up
Employee IT support
An administrator connects by ID and one-time password, sees the screen and helps right away. The user confirms access and chooses the permissions.
Unattended maintenance
A computer in the office or warehouse accepts connections even when nobody is at it, including at the Windows sign-in screen. Unattended access
File exchange
Documents and folders are copied between computers inside an encrypted session — no email or USB sticks. File transfer
Access management
Access to each computer is configured on that computer, and the decision always belongs to whoever is responsible for it.
- One-time password. Generated anew every time DeskOne starts. Read it out, get help, and the password no longer works.
- Personal machine password. A permanent password for unattended access, at least 8 characters. Only a derivative of it is stored on disk.
- Permissions: full control or view only. In view-only mode the operator’s mouse and keyboard have no effect — this is enforced on the controlled computer, not by the operator’s app.
- Trusted operators. A computer can be remembered for a specific operator with the consent of the person at it. The trusted list is visible in settings, and Revoke closes access instantly.
- Active account sign-ins. The account shows which computers it is open on; an unfamiliar sign-in is ended with one click.
Security
Sessions are encrypted end to end from the very start of the connection. The DeskOne server only helps computers find each other by ID and cannot see the screen, files or keystrokes. Whenever possible, the picture goes directly between the computers, bypassing the server. Companies with their own infrastructure can specify their own signaling server and relay in the settings.
Pricing
The free mode gives 2 hours a day on each computer with all features — enough to evaluate DeskOne on your own tasks. For unlimited use there is a Business license: a one-time payment per computer, lifetime, no subscription. Ten computers need ten licenses, paid once rather than every month. Online purchase for international customers is coming soon. See pricing.
FAQ
Which computer needs the license?
The 2-hours-a-day limit applies to the controlled computer, so the license is activated on the computer you connect to.
Is there a central admin console with roles?
Not yet: access is configured on each computer under Settings → This machine. Keeping the computers you need in your account’s Favorites is a convenient way to manage them.
Which systems are supported?
Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11, 32-bit and 64-bit. One installer picks the right version automatically. Download and install.
Do we need to configure a router, VPN or public IP?
No. Computers find each other by ID. If a direct connection is not possible, DeskOne falls back to a relay.
Can we switch to DeskOne from TeamViewer or AnyDesk?
Yes. DeskOne covers the same tasks but is sold without a subscription. Comparisons: TeamViewer alternative, AnyDesk alternative.
